Xcooty is a startup focused on urban mobility, offering you the fastest and most sustainable way to get around the city by renting electric vehicles.
Tell the community who you are and what is your project about:
Xcooty is an urban electric mobility company based on agreements with partners (tourist establishments) that are provided with a clean and sustainable mobility solution through electric vehicles. The vehicles are located in a charge and sleeping internal space, always available for user rental.
What differential value do you contribute to the sector that doesn’t do your competitors?
We make available to our users a personal mobility vehicle from the reception of the hotels. Being able to have a fixed charge location as a point of collection and delivery is an added security compared to other competitors that provides us with a useful life of the vehicles and greater quality of service. Our business model, based on collaboration with our partners, is more respectful of the urban environment of large cities and is better adapted to changing regulations that seek to solve the problem of the lack of global control of some sharing fleet
Who is your product or service aimed to?
Our target client is any tourist or business person, passionate about taking advantage of their time and sightseeing, in love to know every corner of the cities in a clean, agile and sustainable way.
Tell us about your team, what motivates you and how is your journey so far:
We have a multidisciplinary team of entrepreneurs and mentors with a long and successful business career. Passionate about new technologies and innovation Xcooty Mobility was born after a period of research and personal knowledge of scooters as a cornerstone. Technical, logistic, business and financial profiles come together to make the project a reality.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In the medium term we see ourselves as an important actor in urban mobility and a reliable and experienced provider for cities. A company that helps municipalities, companies and institutions adapt their mobility needs to the requirements of the smart cities of the future.
How do you see the mobility sector (in the specific sub-vertical in which you work) in Europe?
The mobility sector in Europe is experiencing a necessary change and transforming the way people move. We are aware of the power of micromobility and its applications to help reduce city traffic and pollution. The COP25 left a clear message, we already know the problem and we know certain solutions to solve it. Although they are difficult and expensive objectives to implement the cities must change and we with them. Alternatives of last mile or short and medium distance transport are currently key as levers to contribute to a better tomorrow.
How do you think your project can contribute to change the way we move or interact with mobility?
For user mobility we propose a fast, fun and flexible way to move around the city. People can book the vehicle from the smartphone in an easy, agile and direct way. They will get a premium service with tourist routes and a complementary safety kit and travel accessories.
For the mobility of cities we are an alternative of ecological mobility, a source of data and we favor the organization of these because our vehicles do not rest on the streets.
Name 1 or 2 startups or corporates who inspire you and why:
Lime and Bird started an innovative sharing model. For us they were an example of inspiration. Looking to adapt their model and specialize in a more sustainable and premium way was born Xcooty.
