Tell us about the team, what motivates you to create a startup and why
Choffers.com was founded by two entrepreneurs; Godden Epule a Cameroonian resident in Spain and Julián Núñez a Spanish. They both a have a business educational background and multinational experience in the tourism sector. Coming from culturally different life and work background, the have been able to fuse this multi-cultural diversity to reflect on the company’s success.
And as visionary entrepreneurs, they seek to add their own foot print in the corporate world to make life better. The company was launched in 2016 and from there, it hasn’t been a bed of roses. We’ve had lots of challenges and tough decisions to make. And after close to two years the hard work is starting to pay off.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Vision 2023 is our projection. We envision that by this time choffers.com would become a global reference in the transport sector. And our main objective is to get people to associate our brand with quality and good services. Also, in 5 years we’re not just thinking about land transportation, we’re also thinking to diversify into transportation which has a potential market.
How do you see the mobility sector (in the specific sub-vertical in which you work) in both Spain and Portugal? And internationally?
The mobility sector is currently in a very turbulent time, we just have to check the news and see for ourselves the situation that is happening. It is true, that until a few years ago, it has been a very rigid sector, a mature sector in which innovation did not fit, but at the moment there are many currents directed to turn it into a more agile sector, and above all, respectful with the environment . This is what has to make us work to stop being the main culprits of pollution on the planet. We have ahead of us the challenge of being 100% sustainable, and finally, getting autonomous and completely safe vehicles.

How do you think your project can contribute to changing the way we move or interact with transportation?
We work in order to be respectful with the environment and efficient, so we try to promote,
whenever possible, shared mobility in cities, making a very controlled use of resources, and to do this, we try to promote a micro market between companies in the same area, to be able to share routes and resources in terms of the mobility of their workers.
Name 1 or 2 startups or corporates who inspire you and why:
Drivania and Grand Class, both consolidated companies. They are a reference for us to provide exclusive and high quality services, and to have a very good image in the sector.
Why did you decided to join the Connected Mobility HUB?
We believe that being part of ecosystems is beneficial for all members, we find very interesting all the activities carried out by the HUB and the opportunities offered. In general, all the ways it has to help entrepreneurs in the sector. For all this, and because they were always present in the events related to the mobility to which we went, we think it is a very wise decision.
